Oracle OpenWorld 2013 was held in San Francisco from September 22-26. This presentation will cover some of the highlights from the event.

  • Topics will include In-Memory Database, Big Data and Oracle Cloud Services.

Speaker: James Thomson, Oracle

  • James is a Senior Sales Consultant specializing in performance tuning and high availability. He joined Oracle in May 2013 after spending more than 15 years as a Database Administrator.
  • Most recently he was a DBA and Team Lead for CGI supporting the BC Ministry of Health in Victoria. James is currently Vice President of the Victoria Oracle Users Group and has been an active board member since 2006.
