October 20th Presentation featuring Chandresh Johnson (CJ) from Groundswell Group Inc.

Presentation: SQL Performance Tuning Strategies in Oracle 11g!

Large Oracle Sites such as Banks, Large Financial Institutions, stock exchanges, utilities markets, oil and gas companies are incredibly sensitive to poor performance. With more and more and more emphasis being placed on 24×7 operation, the pressure to make SQL perform in production becomes even more critical.
In such a scenario we need to be highly cognizant of the necessity for our SQL statements to perform really well.
This presentation is an attempt to bring to light the best practices of writing good SQL queries and troubleshooting the bad ones to achieve optimal performance in mission critical systems.
